Company Profile
Wellspring Massage
Company Overview
Wellspring Massage has been an owner-operated practice in Prescott for over 16 years. I have built an incredible clientele, some of whom have been with me my entire career! I take the time to really get to know my clients, and find the depth of our connections very rewarding. As I bring on new therapists to expand, I see a great opportunity for collaboration - offering new treatments based on my employee's training and interests. Building and maintaining a thriving practice is a lot of work. I know that I can offer a unique opportunity for therapists who want to give quality treatments without having to build their own business.
The practice I've built is one that is thoughtful, heart-felt, and un-rushed. I want my clients as well as my employees to know they matter. I will never ask you to do more than I do myself: I give my best to each client, so I book the number of sessions that allows me to do just that. I know that profit is not the greatest goal in expanding my practice. I want therapists to be able to enjoy their work, feel appreciated and respected, and have a long career. Burn-out and injuries are a real problem in our profession. I want to offer an employment model that sees therapists as an asset, not as expendable.
I hope that the amazing environment I've created for myself and my clients can continue to flourish for new therapists and customers as this new chapter unfolds.
Company History
About Wellspring:
Located in the Oaks Professional Building in beautiful downtown Prescott, Wellspring Massage was originally founded in 2007 by LMTs Jennifer Perkins and myself - Paula Hewing. Jen went on to get her medical degree, and I continued on as a sole-practitioner, building a successful practice for the past 16 years. I specialize in stress relief and relaxation, and especially enjoy providing support for those going through difficult life challenges. I combine Swedish and deep tissue work with techniques such as Cranio-sacral for integrative and individualized sessions. I am also an ICTA certified cupping therapist. I hope to expand my massage menu as I add therapists to my practice. I am excited for my practice to grow in new and collaborative ways!
