MTOB is conveniently located downtown in between the financial district and government center. We are looking to bring on 1-2 experienced, qualified and enthusiastic LMT's 2-4 days a week.
As a massage clinic, we specialize in working with a range of clients from athletic individuals and people working through sports/stress related injuries to busy desk workers with poor posture. Our office is very laid back and a great place for you to build your practice! We encourage our therapists to bring their own style on board and learn from each other. We also highly encourage trading free of charge! We are a team of skilled therapists who are eager to learn and grow within our industry. MTOB offers partial contribution to CEU's after 1 year and a very competitive compensation along with the freedom of making your own schedule.
Online booking, scheduling, POS, SOAP and Intake forms all on one platform and very easy to navigate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate massage treatments based on individual needs and conditions.
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to target specific muscle groups and provide effective massage therapy.
- Perform trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension in clients.
- Administer deep tissue massages to address chronic muscle tension and promote relaxation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed SOAP notes to track client progress and treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring a comfortable and professional environment during sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives and promote overall well-being.
Requirements
The requirements for the position are:
HIGHLY ADEPT in the following modalities: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy.
Strong understanding of anatomy and kinesiology
650+ hours of massage training
Massachusetts State Certified and professional liability insurance
Comfortable working deeply and with specific injuries
Skilled at rebooking clients before they leave the session
